Would you work in these conditions?

  • If there was a mold mushroom growing in the corner of your office…
  • If a ceiling tile fell and hit your head…
  • If there were several inches of water in your office or cubicle…
  • If water was dripping onto your desk from a ceiling leak…
  • If the temperature of your workplace exceeded 35 degrees celsius or was lower than 12 degrees…

Would you work in these conditions?

Unfortunately, students and teachers across Ontario face these types of conditions every day due to the $15-billion of disrepair that has been allowed to accumulate in our publicly funded schools.

Totally unacceptable….and completely irresponsible for our provincial government to have provided such inadequate funding for the past two decades that these types of working/learning conditions are relatively commonplace. The next provincial election is in June 2018. If we believe that the children and adults who spend their days in Ontario schools deserve better, then we must demand that school conditions be a priority issue for all three provincial parties.
