Did your local MPP candidates sign the Fix Our Schools Pledge?

Did your local MPP-elect sign the Fix Our Schools Pledge? CLICK HERE to find out! All the candidates that are “lit up” in their party’s colour signed the pledge!

We are pleased to announce that 58 of the newly elected MPPs that will be heading to Queen’s Park to serve Ontarians did make a commitment to ensure that our schools are safe, healthy, well-maintained buildings that provide environments conducive to learning and working. 23 PCs signed the Fix Our Schools Pledge, as did 32 NDPs and 3 Liberals.

Going forward, we all must work together to continue to educate all our local MPPs about the importance of school conditions and to encourage them to prioritize Ontario’s schools as the critical public infrastructure that they are to children, families and communities. For those 58 MPPs who signed the Fix Our Schools Pledge, we also need to hold them accountable to the commitment they made to develop a standard of good repair for schools and to provide the funding needed to actually achieve those standards.
